Role

The Global Workplace and Infrastructure (GWI) team at Applied Materials is responsible for all facilities, from acquisition through operation to disposition. The Site Manager will act as a primary point of contact for services within the facilities function in their assigned area, to deliver a world class experience for our employees.

This role will be responsible to manage the workplace services and employee experiences, cross collaborate with different functions in the campus and deliver a friction free experience to end users. This position is fully on site in Santa Clara and will report to the Senior Manager, Workplace Services.

Key Responsibilities

The Site Manager will:

Work with outsourced vendors to create an efficient and compelling workplace through the delivery of workplace services such as reception, transportation, janitorial, landscape, dining, meeting and events.

Manage service delivery by having a deep understanding of contract verbiage, established multi-level SLAs and agreed-upon KPIs to inform and influence experience outcomes.

Monitor operations performance through regular vendor walkthroughs to enable near real-time knowledge of health of the operations, risks, and help needed.

Lead employee engagement activities to the activate the workspace, executing creative initiatives to enhance employee experience to facilitate return to the office.

Engage with business groups to be able to anticipate needs and provide solutions before noticeable needs arise.

Request feedback to drive improvements and end user satisfaction.

The Ideal Candidate will have the Following:

Experience in contract management, KPIs and performance tracking of outsourced vendors.

Experience managing different lines of business within the facility, knowledge of the semiconductor or similarly technically complex industry or hospitality industry is a plus.

Ability to communicate effectively and desire to create energy in the workplace.

Passion to challenge the status quo in pursuit of service excellence.

Experience managing different businesses within the same campus and navigating team cultures

U.S. Salary Range:

$124,000.00 - $170,500.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.

For all sales roles, the posted salary range is the Target Total Cash (TTC) range for the role, which is the sum of base salary and target bonus amount at 100% goal achievement.
