Your Career

As the Senior Manager, Employee Relations Business Partner for the GTM client group you will be an integral part of the People team community providing expertise in preventing and resolving workplace issues that interfere with our positive workplace environment and culture. In this position, you will use your experience and knowledge of applicable policies, regulations, and industry best practices to establish and follow appropriate protocol for employee relations issues and investigations. As a thought leader in this area of expertise, you will also have the opportunity to develop and deliver educational programs to create awareness and training and help create a workplace free from behavioral issues and distractions.

You should be an innovative HR professional with a passion for coaching employees and managers and creating teams that work together and win together. You should be comfortable working with any level of employee or manager, have a knack at reading a situation and navigating sensitivities and finding creative solutions to people issues. You are highly collaborative, truly valuing the contributions of your partners.

Your Impact

  • Leading a small team of ER Partners, responsible for coaching and mentoring team members to build their capacity in handling ER matters effectively

  • Provide strategic guidance to leaders and PBPs on sensitive employee relations matters including performance management, misconduct, interpersonal conflicts, leaves and accommodations

  • Conduct investigations into complex and nuanced employment matters - Partner with PBPs, Legal and other parties to adhere to investigative best practices, reaching the optimal outcomes for our organization and employees

  • Drive workforce change initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring that communication is effective, risk is mitigated, and that leaders and employees are supported through the process

  • Use HR analytics and data to identify trends, diagnose issues and make data-driven recommendations to the leadership team and People team colleagues

  • Support internal projects and initiatives as needed

  • Act as an advocate for equitable and fair treatment - ensure our practices continue to align to our company’s core values - Disrupt, Execute, Inclusion, Collaboration, Integrity

Your Experience

  • A minimum of 8 years of Employee Relations experience gained in either an HRBP role or Employee Relations advisory role or equivalent experience as an employment attorney practicing employment law

  • Experience leading, managing and scaling teams

  • A track record of coaching to elevate leadership capability around performance improvement, fair and equitable practices and respect in the workplace policies

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, strong emotional intelligence, and ability to build trust, rapport and influence across all levels of the company

  • Experience conducting investigations and advising on a wide range of sensitive and complex employee relations issues, including performance management, interpersonal manager/employee conflicts or complaints, leaves/accommodations, and behavioral/ conduct issues

  • Demonstrated experience executing on change management programs, with the ability to set priorities, stay focused, and manage time in a fast paced environment

  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills with ability to organize and analyze data, and a passion for using data and insights to make a positive impact on the business

  • Strong understanding of employment law, compliance and ER best practice

  • Track record of effectively coaching leaders to action in sensitive or ambiguous situations

Preferences

  • Experience supporting jurisdictions outside the US

  • Experience supporting a Sales organization

  • Project Management experience

  • Legal degree preferred or equivalent military experience required

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $146,200/yr to $236,500/yr.
