Description We are seeking a Collections Specialist based in Santa Fe Springs, California. The primary role will be to handle AR and collection calls, maintain records, and process invoices. The successful candidate will also be involved in various employee engagement activities and events. This role offers an opportunity to grow within the organization and requires at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting AR and collection calls in a professional manner

• Keeping accurate notes and records of all transactions

• Regularly sending invoices to the mailbox

• Assisting in organizing and setting up employee engagement activities and events

• Reviewing and entering checks into the system

• Coordinating with the accounting manager and controller

• Utilizing various accounting software systems such as Quickbooks and Peachtree

• Assisting with collections and accounts receivable processes

• Providing excellent customer service while dealing with credit and collection issues

• Using Microsoft Excel and other software for billing functions and collection processes. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems

• Familiarity with Accurint

• Experience with Great Plains (GPAC)

• Proficiency in IBM AS/400

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel

• Understanding of Billing Functions

• Familiarity with Collection Processes

• Experience as a Collector

• Knowledge of Credit processes

• Excellent Customer Service skills

• Experience with MS Great Plains Accounting

• Prior experience in Collections

• Experience in Commercial Collections

• Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) processes.
