Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience

  • 3 years of supervisory experience

  • Experience with Microsoft Office

  • Experience with a CRM

Preferred qualifications:

  • Available to work extended hours when necessary and travel occasionally

  • Experience building and improving processes and establishing metrics to track and illustrate performance

  • Experience in Less-than-Truckload (LTL) freight operations, transportation operations, logistics or supply chain environment

  • Able to multitask, prioritize workload under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the customer service team to achieve a superior level of customer satisfaction

  • Work directly with customers to research and resolve complex customer inquiries by identifying root causes and developing effective solutions

  • Act as the escalation point for customer care, both internally and externally

  • Hire, motivate and develop direct reports; promote a high level of employee engagement

  • Support and occasionally fill in for teammates in the service center or district

  • Ensure customer expectations are met and always act with the customer’s best interest in mind; advocate for best-in-class customer experiences and a customer-focused XPO culture

  • Research, develop and monitor metrics and key performance indicators and provide appropriate reporting to senior management

  • Proactively work with Operations, Sales, Marketing and Communications to continuously improve business practices and processes

Annual Salary Range: $74,838 to $93,547. Actual compensation may vary due to factors such as experience and skill set.

In addition to base salary, employees may be eligible for a sign-on bonus, annual and long-term incentive awards, and an equity buyout award. This is an incentive-based position, which may include bonuses, incentive or commission plans.
