Responsibilities
Position Summary:
In keeping with the Pacific Central Coast Health Centers health care philosophy the Nurse Practitioner is responsible for providing direct patient care in an ambulatory setting
Qualifications
Minimum:
Possession of a valid California License as a Registered Nurse
Possession of a California Certificate as a Nurse Practitioner
Certificate as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner
One (1) year experience as a registered Nurse on a Psychiatric Inpatient Unit Psychiatric Emergency Service clinic or Mental Health Center
OR Possession of a valid permanent California License as a Physician Assistant issued by the California Board of Medical Quality Assurance and one (1) year experience as a Physician Assistant on a Psychiatric Inpatient Unit Psychiatric Emergency Service clinic or Mental Health Center.
Verification/Waiver: Verification of qualifying experience education and/or training is required at the time of filing. Preferred:
- Minimum five years’ experience in acute care facility i.e. hospital; specialty training in areas of trauma/urgent care pediatrics and gynecology minor office surgical procedures.
Pay Range
$59.53 - $86.32 /hour
