Staffmark Machinist in Sauk Rapids, Minnesota

Pro Staff is actively seeking skilled Machinists to join our team in Sauk Rapids, MN, supporting a leading provider of integrated gas and chemical delivery solutions. The pay rates for Machinists are as follows: Machinist II ranges from $18.50 to $27.00 per hour, Machinist III ranges from $22.00 to $32.00 per hour, and Machinist IIII ranges from $25.00 to $38.00 per hour. Additionally, there is a 10% shift differential for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 1:00 AM, Monday to Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays), and a 15% shift differential for 3rd shift and weekends. As a Machinist with our team, your responsibilities will include setting up and operating mills, lathes, and/or routers to machine parts according to precise specifications. You will be expected to interpret and understand engineering drawings, ensuring accuracy in every detail. Using inspection tools, you'll measure and verify dimensions, maintaining meticulous records of your work. Additionally, you'll play a key role in designing or assisting in the design of tooling and fixtures to optimize production processes. Setting up CNC machines, including loading programs, tools, fixtures, and adjusting tool offsets, will be part of your daily tasks. As a technical expert, you'll conduct first article inspections to uphold quality standards. You may also supervise and guide other team members as necessary, demonstrating your ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Qualifications: Experience with Citizen Swiss turning centers and Live Y axis preferred Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of various cutting tools Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings in inch and metric units, and BOMs Familiarity with 316 steel and C-22 materials Understanding of mechanics, flow control elements, and MRP concepts Excellent visual acuity, manual dexterity, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs Strong verbal and written communication skills 4-5+ years of manufacturing or related work experience preferred A.A. degree or equivalent experience, or vocational/technical training Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit or pay card A dedicated local team committed to your success Employee discounts and referral bonuses Medical, dental, vision, and 401K options available Ready to take the next step in your career?
