Experian Data Acquisition Manager - Automotive (remote) in Schaumburg, Illinois

We are looking for someone to join our Data Acquisition team as Data Acquisition Manager. The Manager of Data Acquisition will engage 3rd parties by partnership or commercial agreements to continuously strengthen Experian Automotive data assets, products, and services. You will plan, identify, and develop targeted business relationships with other organizations to facilitate product development, revenue, and strategic goals.

Major Job Functions:

  • Establish white space analysis of data acquisition opportunities pertaining to Experian Automotive statistical data products.

  • Prospect, identify and establish relationships with other potential new partners or affiliates with the aim to work together in providing mutually beneficial data partnerships.

  • Assess the potential value of data partnerships and identify opportunities to use external data to enhance Experian's products, services, or operations.

  • Build a presence in targeted industries through trade show and association presence.

  • Drive and prioritize Experian Automotive relationship and integrations on partner roadmaps.

  • Lead the negotiation and contracting process with partners and affiliates.

  • Collaborate internally with Data Strategy and Product Development teams to understand their data requirements and goals. Determine the types of data needed to support projects and decision-making processes.

  • Leverage deep product and data use knowledge to deliver great experience to partners and affiliates by representing the Experian brand.

  • Bachelors degree in business, marketing or related field.

  • Proven track record of success in B2B relationship management within the automotive industry.

  • Understanding of Automotive data landscape and awareness of data privacy laws and regulations.
