ManpowerGroup HR Assistant in Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania

Our client, the world leader in the energy and telecom cable systems industry is seeking an HR Assistant to join their team. As an HR Assistant you will fully suport the HR team from scheduling, onboarding, complaince process, to benefits and much more. The ideal candidate will have a minumum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources and familiarity with employment law.

Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: Schuylkill Haven, PA

Pay Range: $22-$28/hr DOE

What’s the Job?

  • Conducts telephone screening interviews for non-exempt positions.

  • Collaborates with the NA Recruiting Manager on individual strategies for specific positions

  • Coordinates requisitions, maintains vacancy database and prepares salaried vacancy report for operations teams.

  • Prepares internal/external postings, retrieves resumes and telephone screens for basic requirements.

  • Coordinates temporary agency placements. Verifies hours.

  • Schedules and coordinates candidate interviews

  • Compiles various recruitment brochures and information packages.

  • Other tasks as assigned

What’s Needed?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field is a plus!

  • 3+ years in Human Resources/Recruiting role

  • Familiarity with employment law, specifically in the area of recruitment

  • Competency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, e-mail

  • Workday knowledge
