Description We are in the market for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to become part of our team. Based in Scottsdale, Arizona, you will have the chance to handle a variety of tasks related to accounts payable within our industry. This role presents a short term contract employment opportunity with a focus on managing customer credit applications and records.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Maintain precise customer credit records

• Ensure compliance and accuracy while setting up and maintaining vendor details and payment instructions within banking and accounting systems

• Handle the review, processing, and routing of invoices for approval

• Promptly research and respond to vendor inquiries and outstanding invoice issues

• Manage all facets of financial transactions including the generation of reports for weekly check runs and processing urgent check requests

• Carry out monthly statement reconciliations

• Initiate manual wires and internal transfer requests in the banking system

• Contribute to audit preparations by supplying necessary documentation

• Assist with additional duties and projects when necessary Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) processes

• Comfortable processing 100+ invoices daily

• Experience with Coding Invoices is mandatory

• Strong Data Entry skills required

• Must possess expertise in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must
