HonorHealth has an opening for a Interface Dev III in Scottsdale, AZ. Responsible for developing and providing support for interfaces from disparate applications and sources throughout the organization to ensure database and application integrity across systems. Work with various parties to determine feasibility, analyze and develop complex integrations, while providing third tier support, interface subject matter expertise to the entire team and after-hours issue remediation. Designs, codes, tests and implements interfaces according to specifications using the required protocols such as HL7, TCPIP, XML, Web Services, etc.
Demonstrates the ability to develop multiple interfaces across multiple simultaneous projects, while staying within defined project timelines, and balancing multiple priorities/tasks. Serves as interface team lead. Ensure and enforces stability of data management and transfers through systems, for maintaining the integrity of the data residing on systems, facilitating and performing validations, and error resolution and decision making to complete or support business processing requirements. Guides interface development team on issue resolution as subject matter expert. Leads development planning sessions, weekly team status meetings and create/update appropriate project management documentation as required. Produce in-depth documentation of all operational integration development, policies and procedures, while reviewing existing documentation created by the interface development team.
Work with vendors to ensure needed coordination is in place between application owners and Integration development and support teams. Demonstrates the ability to proactively escalate concerns/issues with vendor resources or ICP project team accordingly. Leads interface project calls, provides real-time feedback and timely follow-up correspondence. Participants in on-call rotation providing after hours support for production interfaces/applications. Manage, maintain, and monitor interface server environment from an O.S./Hardware perspective. Report and provide guidance on configuration/settings with regards to storage of interface messaging.
Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Technology or related field. 6 years experience in any relevant occupation involving interface development and analysis. Understanding of HL7 interface engine technologies. Knowledge of communication methods, such as any of web services, SFTP, SSH, HTTP, TCP or similar. Knowledge of Script programming, such as any of Java/Javascript, SQL, PHP, Perl, Python or similar. Knowledge of data normalization, such as any of LOINC, Snomed, CPT, ICD-9, or similar. Experience with multiple RDBMS, such as any of MS SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or similar. Familiarity with advanced data sets and NoSQL architecture. Healthcare Industry knowledge and familiarity with medical terminology. Understanding of Health technologies, such as any of EHR, HIS, PMS, HL7, HIE, CDR or similar. Use of Atlassian products specifically Jira and Confluence. Experience with Linux, Windows, VMware and Data Storage.
