The Direct Support Personnel position is an important position within any community. Your goal is to build lasting relationships, and help individuals enjoy a happy and healthy life by performing simple daily tasks.
Locations vary, positions open throughout Luzerne County, including Hazleton & Wilkes-Barre.
Below is a list of some of the responsibilities that a qualified candidate would be expected to perform: Tidying up the house and helping with basic housekeeping tasks that keep the home environment neat and enjoyable for the client Encouraging light exercise to keep client active and moving Preparing and serving snacks and meals Transporting the client to nearby appointments or engagements including social events, fairs, activities, etc. Assisting with any sort of personal care such as toileting, bathing, transfers, etc. Perks working at Maxim: Location- We do our best to provide clients as close to you as possible Flexibility- We understand how difficult it can be to balance school, kids, work and other priorities, we will do our best to provide options that best fit your schedule Healthcare Benefits- Available for anyone working more than 120 hours/month Miles Compensation- We will compensate all travel while on the job with our clients.
