Position Title: Content Acquisition Mgr II
Location: Seattle, Washington
Position Responsibilities:
Manage strategic relationships with publishers and help define the content strategy and execution for business initiatives and products in the US and other marketplaces around the world. 2. Use complex analytics to guide decision-making. 3. Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate, and manage strategic partnership deals that delight customers and support strategic objectives. 4. Serve as a key member of the Content Acquisition team in defining and delivering the strategy around content acquisition, new business models, promotional programs, and growing readership around the world. 5. Develop business and product requirements, prioritize needs, and manage milestones with input from key stakeholders. 6.Establish and execute against selection, operational, and business metrics. 7. Deliver results by working with key internal stakeholders (e.g. product management, legal, marketing, and other Content Acquisition teams around the world). 8. Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management of Amazon and publishers. 9.Identify opportunities for innovation and automation. 10. Leverage data analysis to research difficult or ambiguous problems, leading cross-disciplinary teams to drive recommendations to senior leadership. 11. Develop and execute against P&L while understanding business trends that impact the bottom line. 12. Partial telecommuting permitted; employees will be required to report to office multiple days per week.
Position Requirements:
A bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration/Management, Operations or related discipline and 1 year of experience in consulting, finance, or banking. Experience must include: (1) 1 year of experience in project management. (2) 1 year of experience in analyzing emerging trends in the marketplace. (3) 1 year of experience with SQL or other reporting technologies and methods. (4) 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel.
