Remitly, Inc., Seattle, WA -- Information Technology Project Managers: To plan, initiate, and drive information technology projects. Review requirements specifications for defects, performance, reliability, scalability, testability, usability, and security. Plan process and technology improvement projects and collaborate on execution. Evaluate research data for appropriate resource allocation. Evaluate vendor or consultants for project needs. Track performance and quality metrics for information technology projects. Collaborate on assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority with project personnel. Position requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related STEM field, and 2 years of experience with building IT development plans and executing quality assurance and testing for engineering teams. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: analyzing and documenting technical requirements for software systems; performing A/B testing; developing backend services to upgrade complex legacy systems; and technical skills, including Agile, AWS, Docker, DynamoDB database, ElasticSearch, Fusion (Racket), Go, Grafana, Java, JavaScript, Kotlin, Postman, Prometheus, Python, React, React Native, Ruby, SNS, SQS and TypeScript. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the United States based on manager approval.
