The Internal Audit team is seeking a technology auditor to perform assessments of Amazon’s Devices, Media and Entertainment, Alexa, Advertising, and Corporate (DMAAC) functions. You will have the opportunity to leverage and grow your technology skills, expand your knowledge of technology, and provide opportunities to problem solve with some of the best minds in the industry!

The ideal candidate is interested in diving deep into a variety of complex architectures and ensuring DMAAC functions are designed and operating securely. You will support the planning, scoping, execution, and reporting based on identified risks. Assessment scope may include identity and access management, key management, data security/privacy, service monitoring, release management, and service availability.

You will bring independent and objective points of view to provide support to service teams and their partners to identify opportunities for control improvements to mitigate risks, ensure compliance and improve operational performance. In this capacity, you will gain valuable exposure to many areas of our global business.

This position will challenge your current understanding of Amazon services. You will have the ability to learn new technology concepts quickly. You are someone who is curious and known for diving deep into subject matter, taking ownership, and encouraging innovative and pragmatic solutions to complex problems. In addition, you will have solid business judgment, enthusiasm for risk management, the ability to gain trust and respect of business leaders, and the capability to guide a fast-paced organization to the right results.

The position is based out of Seattle or Washington D.C. metro area and may require up to 10 - 20% travel, including some international travel.

Basic Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in information systems, computer science, engineering, accounting, finance, math or related field.

• 2+ years of experience in IT or Operations internal auditing, risk management, IT compliance, IT project management, information security, software development or technology.

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters in management information systems, computer science, or a related field.

• Experience with SQL, ACL, Tableau or other data analysis tools.

• Familiarity with COSO, COBIT, ISO, NIST, and/or ITIL frameworks.

• Desire to pursue or already have relevant professional certification (e.g., CISA, CISSP).

• Broad technical or information security background.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
