DocuSign Lead Software Engineer (JOB CODE IMJ472) in Seattle, Washington
DOCUSIGN, INC. IN SEATTLE, WA SEEKS Lead Software Engineer (JOB CODE IMJ472) TO PERFORM THE FOLLOWING JOB DUTIES: Help build and enhance DevOps capabilities. Integrate various development tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, Kubernetes), writing scripts to automate repetitive tasks, and end user tool development. Assist in implementation of 3rd party systems acquired for development as well as design and development of extensions to those 3rd party systems. Use ability to install, maintain and extend both commercial and open source software packages. Collect requirements, document and present designs and architectures for extensions and ancillary tools to those systems. Develop advanced scripting modules for manipulating infrastructure, reduce the complexity for admin scripts while increasing quality and reliability. Assist in monitoring, problem-solving and issue resolution of infrastructure components. Monitor for system alerts and provide hands on resolution of incidents. Work with members of DevOps team to evaluate, improve, and automate infrastructure components. Work closely with security team to ensure the remediation of reported security vulnerabilities.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Education: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: 8 years progressively responsible, post-baccalaureate software development experience
Experience to include:
- Linux/Unix and Windows systems;
- Linux and Windows web servers;
- Jenkins or similar CI/CD tooling;
- Cloud, Virtual and Container technologies (AWS, Azure, Docker, OpenStack, or Kubernetes);
- Entire software development lifecycle, including version control (git), build process, testing, and code release; and
- Developing in a scripting or compiling language (Python, Ruby, JavaScript, PowerShell, Java, GO or C#).
*Salary: * Washington Pay Range: $233,200 to $253,200 per year base salary + corporate benefits
