A boutique firm specializing in complex plaintiff personal injury is seeking a Litigation Paralegal to join their team. This role handles a low volume of complex cases that more often goes to trial. Work is assigned by the case so you will support multiple attorneys.

The salary range for the role is 80-98k with additional bonus earnings. The firm offers medical, dental and vision coverage for both employee (premiums 100% paid) and dependents (premiums 90% paid), 401k with 4% match, 3 weeks PTO with 6 sick days, paid court holidays and the option to work from home on a hybrid schedule weekly.

Some of the tasks assigned to this position include:

· Court filings, e-filing, e-serving in King/Pierce County state courts

· Calendaring hearings, deadlines, reminders

· Drafting routine pleadings

· Ordering and tracking records

· Medical records analysis

· Document review

· Drafting/responding to discovery requests

· FOIA/PRA requests

· Client communication as needed

· Preparing notebooks and materials for depositions and trials

Requirements

Ideal candidates will have the following experience:

• 2+ years experience as a litigation paralegal or 4+ years as a litigation legal assistant looking for a growth opportunity

• Skilled at e-filing in Washington courts, federal court filings experience a plus

• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery and other legal documents

• Experience requesting, summarizing and organizing medical records

• Great people skills - this role is client facing

• High attention to detail

• Skilled at proactive calendaring, familiar with WA court rules, docketing and procedures
