Zillow, Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer for its Seattle, WA office.
Job Duties: Design and code highly scalable, machine learning applications processing large volumes of data. Provide technical leadership to a strong team of data scientists, engineers, and analysts. Develop and program integrated software algorithms to structure, analyze and leverage data in product and systems applications in both structured and unstructured environments. Develop and communicate descriptive, diagnostic, predictive and prescriptive insights/algorithms. Deliver production-ready testable code in small iterations, following agile processes; Use current programming language and technologies to translate algorithms and technical specifications into code in both theoretical development environments and specific product design, implementation and improvement environments. Complete programming and implement efficiencies, perform testing and debugging. Complete documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Collaborate with others in crafting and implementing your technical vision. Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from concept to release; Participate in all phases of quality assurance and defect resolution. Telecommuting permitted.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Education or experience in: Deploy machine learning models at scale; Machine learning algorithms; Python programming; and Build data pipelines using airflow, or other frameworks.
