Nucor Melt Shop Shift Utility - NSSEA in Seattle, Washington
Basic Job Functions:
The Melt Shop Utility is primarily responsible for stocking all necessary consumable materials needed for the furnace operation. This requires the ability to operate skid steers, forklifts, jib cranes, and other mobile equipment. Additional duties include unloading of lime and alloy rail cars, housekeeping responsibilities, and covering positions on the furnace when necessary.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
