  • Opportunity to provide career growth DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION Located adjacent to the main medical center, the Heart Institute at Harborview Medical Center provides consultation and follow-up care for patients referred to the clinic for cardiac-related issues.Services include the evaluation and management of cardiac-related health problems, patient education, cardiac imaging; including heart catheterization and electrophysiology, stress testing and cardiac CT. Other services include anticoagulation monitoring, ECGs and echocardiography. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor program activities in relation to established program goals; within established program parameters, determine variance from program standards

  • Collaborate and support our Clinics Admin Program Ops Specialists with process improvement initiatives and changes

  • Lead the day-to-day work and provide general orientation to volunteers, temporary and hourly staff working in Ambulatory Administration

  • Process and track requests in HEMM, Office Depot, Creative Communications and Smartworks; assure that controllable cost category goals are met

  • Transmits information and responds to inquiries for information, signatures, reports, surveys, and other administrative tasks

  • Use word processing, graphics, statistical, spreadsheet and/or data base software

  • High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR
