Amazon's internal logistic network has grown and expanded exponentially in the last couple years to support the overall growth in our retail/FBA business. This is a dynamic space to be in as we continue to heavily invest in building a complex and efficient transportation network to enable faster and more reliable deliveries for our customers. Key job responsibilities

1) Perform month-end close activities, which includes performing manual journal entries, reviewing financials and analyzing monthly fluctuations and variances; 2) Prepare account reconciliations during and post close; 3) Monitor automated transactions and work closely with controllership and tech teams to detect any anomalies; 4) Understand GRC process and controls and prepare external audit request; 5) Understand and apply relevant accounting guidance; 6) Support project launch, including automations ; review journal entries files and UAT test results; 7) Enhance current process, establish and maintain relevant SOPs; implement detective measurement to ensure proper controls are in place for any new process/project initiated; 8) Communicate effectively with all internal and external stakeholders; 9) Be a team player and have fun!!

Work closely with internal team members on all assigned tasks; collaborate with all stakeholders, including business, finance, controllership, reporting, tech, SOX, FBI and other accounting teams and ensure that accounting teams provides timely support to our customers;

Basic Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of Fortune 500 operational accounting experience

• CPA

• Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency

• Knowledge of GAAP research tools and the FASB codification

• Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients

• Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
