Qualtrics, LLC seeks Senior Software Development Engineer in Seattle WA.

Duties: Develop scalable, fast, robust, and simple web-based software solutions to solve complex business problems. Modify existing software to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation. Confer with systems analysts, engineers, programmers and others to design system and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces. Analyze user needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints. Design, develop and modify software systems, using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements. Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance. Design test plans, scenarios, scripts or procedures. Test system modifications to prepare for implementation. Develop testing programs that address areas such as database impacts, software scenarios, regression testing, negative testing, error or bug retests, or usability.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field of study; and 5 years of experience. This position also requires experience with the following skills and technologies: i) Web infrastructure and distributed systems; ii) Object oriented programming language (Java, JavaScript, angular, node, php, python, C#, or C++); iii) Relational databases and SQL; iv)

Software development tools: Code editors (VIM and Emacs), and revision control systems (GIT); v) UNIX including file manipulation and simple commands; vi) Building highly scalable

performant solutions; vii) Algorithms; and viii) JavaScript specific technologies (libraries, frameworks, etc.) such as angular, node.js, and react.
