The Salvation Army is seeking a Shelter Supervisor to be responsible for all supervisory duties pertaining to William Booth Center shelter. They will be responsible for all supervisory responsibilities associated to front desk operations to include shift scheduling, timecards, and payroll preparation, reporting sick and vacation, ensuring staff trainings as assigned, ensures Standard Operating Procedures are followed, coordinates shift adjustments as needed in coordination with the Program Manager and Facility Director. This position is full-time, non-exempt, and located in Seattle, Washington. Pay Rate: $26.74/hour Duties & Responsibilities Under direct supervision and coordination with the Program Manager and Facility Director, duties will include responsibility for direct supervision of the shelter monitors and/or case management assistants. Demonstrates working knowledge of emergency Assists with the monitoring, evaluation, and facilitation of changes in operational and administrative programs to ensure compliance with policy, contractual and government (City, State, County, Federal) requirements. Assists as needed in hiring assuring adequate coverage of permanent, temporary, and on-call shelter Provide direct supervision and training for assigned staff Attends and participates in all staff Conduct regular shelter program staff meetings as needed, ensuring both internal and external compliance. Ability to conduct and oversee direct client services. Provide policy and procedure guidance to subordinate staff Provide supportive care to residents experiencing personal Education & Experience HS Diploma or GED Minimum of 1-year experience in public contact/customer service 1 year of relatable supervisory experience Demonstrates skilled training in basic Trauma-Informed Care, Mental Health First Aide, and conflict Four months successful experience as a Salvation Army Shelter Monitor (or related experience).
