Blue Origin LLC Sr. Additive Manufacturing Maintenance Technician (Weekday Shift) in Seattle, Washington

This role is part of Blue Origin Operations, which is comprised of Integrated Supply Chain, Facilities, and Security. This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities. As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will ensure machinery is operating and running efficiently for use in manufacturing hardware for various spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of performing troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, repair and upgrades. Special Mentions Relocation provided Shift available: Monday - Thursday (5am - 3:30pm) Responsibilities include but not limited to: Manage all machine tool service requirements and needs Perform/schedule factory required preventative maintenance Maintain and repair machine tools and other equipment Assemble and install mechanical equipment and systems such as production machinery/tools Maintain all machine service records Schedule factory repair technicians Operate as a point of contact with factory for service Provide training as required for preventative maintenance to other employees Safely work within an industrial environment Performs other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: A minimum of 15+ years of experience in machine maintenance Troubleshoot and repair Additive manufacture printers, down draft tables, dust booths, media blasters, chillers, sieves, argon scrubbers, and conveyers Have working experience with AM operations and mechanical components including motors, spindles, bearings, controls, relays, switches and solenoids Familiar reading electrical schematics and diagrams Excellent communication skills Fluent in use of precision hand tools Familiar with use of personal computers Self-motivated and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates Must be able to work assigned shift, as well as weekends and overtime, when necessary Able to perform mid-level math skills efficiently and accurately (including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, fraction and decimals) Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and contribute to a culture of inclusion Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum Preferred Qualifications: EOS, AMCM, Additive industries, and SLM control experience 20+ years of experience in machine maintenance Familiar with SMC chiller systems Experience with Laser alignments and calibrations Integration of accessory machine components Machine ladder logic and PLC experience Machine operation experience Hazard waste management experience Have a knowledge of standard OSHA and State safety regulations and policies including Lock Out Tag procedures for all types of equipment Experience operating heavy lifting equipment such as cranes and forklifts around flight critical hardware Compensation range for on site WA applicants is $42.47-$59.45 Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis until the requisition is closed.
