Sr Manager, Business Process Architecture (Merchandising)

A day in the life…

The Senior Manager for Business Process Architecture is a skilled leader and problem solver, dedicated to enhancing the organization by developing better processes and applications. Y ou will play a pivotal role in shaping the future by leading the charge in automating and enhancing our business processes .

Th e person in this role is motivated, proactive , and inspired by improving the future of merchandising processes with increased efficiency and quality. You will combine retail business expertise , business process management abilities (including notation), project or program management abilities with technical and analytical skills. To document and communicate the future vision, you will need experience in designing and notating business processes. T o be successful, you will need to understand best practices in the current state , as well as the industry.

This role will report to the VP Product Management for Merchandising and will manage the Business Process Architecture team , which works on automating and enhancing business processes. You will collaborate across a variety of teams, inclu ding Product Management, Technology , and Program Management, and Merchandising Business Leadership. You will own and maintain End to End Merchandising Process d iagrams for current, target and reference states , and lead across large company wide initiatives as a Process Expert that drives intuitive automation and promotes decisions that enable scalability. Your team will create and maintain sub-processes that are integral in supporting Product Management, and they will act as a center of excellence for process documentation, standards, and strategic vision.

  • Has p roject and program management skills to drive successful execution

  • Has Technical acumen for understanding process automation tools and technologies

  • Create deep relationships with business partners and key stakeholders to build trust and drive successful initiatives, while effectively identifying and initiating changes when necessary

  • Enjoys coaching and mentoring  a dynamic team, fostering an environment of growth and learning, and driving innovation through  collaborative leadership

    You own this if you have...

  • 5 +years of experience with demonstrated , comprehensive knowledge of business landscape, business analysis, Business Process Management Notation (BPMN), Lean methodologies and tools for process improvem ent (notation and measurement)

  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to drive change in a complex environment

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to build relationships and influence

  • Strong organization and project or program management skills including creating and managing a project plan and timeline both for a small project or across a larger initiative with project partners

  • Agile leadership to communicate with, inspire and influence others, deconstructing ambiguity and helping to mitigate technical roadblocks

  • Experience in Retail Merchandising is preferred

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $126,500.00 - $210,000.00

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more. Eligibility requirements may apply based on location, job level, classification, and length of employment.
