Senior Project Engineer - Full Time - Malaysia/Singapore
Join our PP team in Malaysia as Senior Project Engineer to help us take our business to the next level.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of project execution, from Contract award, Basic Engineering, Detail Engineering, Fabrication, Delivery, to Pre-commissioning of plant.
Plan, monitor and manage project schedule; Be the driver for on-time completion of critical project milestones.
Participate in Vendor qualification, bid evaluations and contract negotiation.
Coordinate technical and commercial discussions between internal project team, End-User, EPC and Vendors.
Perform project Risk Assessment; Establish and execute risk mitigation plan.
Manage project scope deviation and initiate change management when necessary.
Monitor and protect project margin, maintaining healthy project cashflow.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
More than 7 years of experience in project management of EPC-type projects in petrochemical industry
Exposure to medium-large EPC projects
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
Excellent analytical abilities, results-oriented, creative problem-solving.
Understands project execution challenges from feasibility study to basic design, basic engineering, detailed design, to skid fabrication.
