Purpose of Role

Associate Manager, Digital Marketing

The Digital Marketing Associate Manager is responsible for ensuring UA’s brand voice consistently comes to life within the digital space. This role follows up on Under Armour’s brand promise to always innovate and drive a best-in-class digital voice. This person drives and optimizes marketing around UA’s associated digital spaces, need to be responsible for driving share of voice, social buzz, and engagement in digital space to improve the brand awareness and interest.

Sr. Professional, Acquisition Marketing

Under Armour is seeking a Sr. Professional, Acquisition Marketing, for our growing Consumer Acquisition team to drive revenue and growth for the brand. This role, working alongside the Sr. Manager, Acquisition, will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of the Paid Search and PLA program to drive success of the DTC business and the UA brand in the Americas.

The person in this role will help the team leverage go-to-market strategies, positioning and activation plans of Under Armour. This position will support the team with the ongoing management of agency partners, budget and revenue forecasting, financial reporting and marketing processes, This person will ensure Under Armour is powerfully placed in the market to connect with customers and drive sales. This Digital Marketing specialist will bring to the team a solid understanding of the Paid Search space, with experience in performance marketing at large being a plus.

Sr. Professional, Digital Marketing

Under Armour is seeking an experienced professional to support the marketing and programming strategy for the digital commerce portfolio in The Americas, with a focus on website & shop app content. In this role, it is mandatory to lead with a consumer first mindset. This role will support the consumer journey mapping on UA.com & UA Shop App, commercial calendar planning, and content execution. This person will work cross-functionally with Content Operations, UX, Merchandising team and Consumer Science to ensure that digital content is optimized for channel usage, based on consumer and business insights. This teammate with be instrumental as we continue to evolve communication tactics for our brand and product stories throughout our digital ecosystem.

Sr. Professional, Email Developer

As the Email Producer (Remote), you will play an integral role on the Americas Retention Marketing team, building and delivering marketing and lifecycle communications that engage consumers and drive long term retention. This person will run and execute email marketing campaigns with a focus on HTML, Automation workflows and A/B testing to optimize the consumer journey.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable thinking strategically as well as rolling up their sleeves and executing. This role will suit an individual who is passionate about consumer experience and marketing, offers a technical skillset, is an intellectually curious self-starter, works well cross-functionally, and is an excellent communicator.

This role will report to our Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, playing a critical role in the development of the UA in-house email program and continuing to support the team as it evolves.

Your Impact

Associate Manager, Digital Marketing

  • Drive Digital campaigns from planning to execution as part of the overall marketing strategy for the region

  • Aligns digital media & social partners with the UA brand ensuring we are speaking to our target audience

  • Work with key social players to achieve an innovative strategy and execution

  • Constantly optimize social & content strategy and plan to maximize consumer engagements & brand social buzz, ensure the strength of brand image and improvement of brand preference on key social platforms

  • Work with Mar-tech team to build and deliver analytics to constantly optimize social & content effectiveness

  • Ability to buy and negotiate social media and other forms of brand advertising/sponsorship

Sr. Professional, Acquisition Marketing

  • Lead the Paid Search and PLA program for North America

  • Play an important and active role in driving revenue for the business by ensuring alignment and collaboration with agency partners across Search space

  • Partner internally across Planning, Creative, Merchandising, Sales to align promotions/product releases and communicate plans and timing to support these offers

  • Partner with Marketing Agencies overseeing our Search & PLA program to strategize, collaborate, plan & execute the overall approach

  • Partner with Agency overseeing our Retail Marketing efforts; strategize, collaborate, plan & execute within the Search space

  • Building out written briefs (creative, strategic) for Agency and Media partners tied to given campaign projects.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to understand the target consumer and KPI metrics to evaluate our effectiveness in reaching that consumer.

Sr. Professional, Digital Marketing

  • Become a subject matter expert in brand and product categories to keep up with daily business on UA.com

  • Partner with merchandising and channel marketers to execute an efficient linking strategy for both off-site and on-site marketing collateral

  • Use page performance and content reporting to build strong omni-channel consumer journey maps

  • Plan, build and execute seasonal commercial calendars

  • Collaborate with Americas regional leads

  • Turn business and marketing goals into impactful strategies for submission into creative briefs through partnership with SEO and UX

  • Confirm digital assets are delivered using existing functionality and answer to consumer need

  • Use quantitative and qualitative insights to improve awareness, adoption and conversion through partnership with analytics and consumer science team

  • Create and prioritize intake tickets for new marketing or creative requests for engineering with support from product manager

Sr. Professional, Email Developer

  • You execute marketing and automated/triggered email campaigns to drive seamless consumer journey

  • You review briefs, manage workflow tools, and kick off campaign building.

  • You build emails, templates and landing pages as needed while ensuring they render across clients and devices.

  • You develop and execute test plans that confirm accurate email coding and optimal rendering.

  • You configure user initiated sends, a/b deployment tests, automations, and deployments.

  • You analyze and compile key learnings from email campaigns to optimize performance.

  • You collaborate with partners and provide guidance on email best practices and opportunities to leverage technology to drive more innovative and engaging email content.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with typically 5 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with typically 3 years of relevant experience OR typically 9 years of relevant work experience without degree

Associate Manager, Digital Marketing

  • Successful track record of brand marketing campaigns media & social planning and execution

  • Basic knowledge and data sense in precise targeting & programmatic buy

  • A real-time track of latest social media trends & hot topics, try and test new ideas proactively

  • A track record of implementing innovative and disruptive marketing campaigns

  • Great sense of aesthetics and ability to apply brand concept to social content, attends to details

  • Strong communication & presentation skills both in English and Chinese, written & oral

  • Sports and retail industry experience with personal interest in sports is preferred

  • Full experience in social media & content planning

  • Experience & sense in data and analytics

Sr. Professional, Acquisition Marketing

  • Proven ability to manage a Search/PLA program

  • Prior experience writing creative and/or tactical briefs.

  • Prior experience within Retail Marketing (or something similar/relatable)

  • Strong Google Experience

  • 3+ Years of Paid Search, PLA experience is a must

  • Strong Experience Retail Marketing preferred

Sr. Professional, Digital Marketing

  • Possesses a comprehensive understanding of eCommerce Marketing, including: Content Creation, SEO, Reporting and full-funnel Content Management

  • Familiarity with Loyalty and Personalization journeys

  • Proven experience delivering consumer journey framework

  • Experience analyzing A/B tests and using A/B test tools is a plus

  • Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Workfront, Smartsheet and other project/collaboration tools

  • Experience with Ariba payment system preferred but not mandatory

  • Proficiency required in Microsoft Office: Word, Powerpoint, Excel & Keynote

Sr. Professional, Email Developer

  • Working knowledge of email marketing, including direct experience with email deployment tools & technologies. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Experience Required.

  • Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS coding for email, and familiarity with responsive design and email client/browser standards.

  • Working knowledge of content builder tools and an understanding of relational databases and data schemas.

  • Deep understanding of campaign flow and process and how it drives digital marketing efforts.

  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with 3rd party partners

  • Direct experience with Salesforce Content Builder, Journey Builder, user initiated sends, Automation Studio etc. a plus.

  • Experience with AMPscript, SQL, and App Push notifications are a plus.

  • Graphic Design or Programming background preferred

Base Compensation

$244,661.00 - $336,408.60 CNY

Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
