Job Responsibilities

The Early Asset Lead is expected to accountable for the early asset development strategy and the overall TA portfolio. Based on the unmet clinical needs keep exploring the potential of the Asset up to transition to the China Market.

The Early Asset Lead will lead China Early Asset Teams at TA level from SoD to post PoCP stage to hand over to Asset Team

-Accountable to set the strategic vision for early assets, including steering the ambition (e.g., early target product profile), establishing cross-functional teams, and working with the functional leads in Medical, Market Access and Marketing to accelerate trans-formative therapies, ensuring early Assets are developed to address unmet clinical needs and to improve the current standard of care.

-Co-creates early clinical development strategy with global early asset team that accounts for China market considerations and requirements, and ensure the respective teams' execution resources (budgets and staff) required are secured within the appropriate functional budgets

-Provide early feedback to Corporate Asset Teams to support early Go/No Go decision making

-For assigned TA, leads the China early assets team comprised of China Evidence, Marketing and Access Leads, as well as extended team members to develop the China strategy which address clinical, regulatory, access and commercial needs.

-Accountable (externally and internally) for the consolidated early asset strategy and the seamless execution of asset deliverables and decisions for each asset ensuring the assets are managed in a cost-effective manner with appropriate resources.

-Closely work with global TA team in the alignments of TA Asset Development Strategy, priorities and the overall portfolio also act as the major contact of global early Asset Leads

-Serves as architect and coach to Asset Team, strives to build a highly motivated, cohesive and empowered Asset Team promoting a culture of innovation and ability to accelerate transformative therapies

Requirements

-Master Degree and above with Medicine, Pharmacology and related majors

-Accomplished industry professional with solid experience with strong strategic thinking across the whole life cycle of clinical drug development, inclusive of the role medical, market access, and marketing contribute to market success

-Proven record in leading cross-functional teams and ability to empower the organization, challenge the status quo

-Solid knowledge with in depth experience in clinical development of all phases, portfolio mindset and talent to translate early assets and strategies into feasible outcomes

-Excellent analytical thinking and critical thinking abilities, including the ability to solve complex problems and to proactively identify potential issues

-Excellent teamwork, influencing, negotiation and collaboration abilities

-Confident in driving decisions and prioritizing in ambiguous environment and to empower others being ready to take decisions within their respective responsibilities, ensuring all perspectives are heard and promoting a speak up culture

-Excellent networking & communication ability within local, global & external environment

-Extensive competence in conflict management
