Job Description Summary

The GE Vernova Financial Management Program (FMP) is a two-year early career development program that will ignite your professional growth. This program positions you to become a future Finance and Business Leader at GE Vernova. FMP combines business assignments with formal classroom and virtual training in finance, accounting, business, soft skills, leadership development and energy markets.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Complete four, six-month rotations (2 years) at GE Gas Power (swap rotations across 12 GE Vernova Energy businesses). Train in GE’s core finance competencies to earn diverse on-the-job experiences: Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis, Project Finance & Controllership.

  • Partners with teams from within the business unit to specify needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes.

  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area.

  • Contributes to a wide variety of data analysis assignments to grow leadership skills, business acumen, and technical skills.

  • A job at this level requires good social skills. Communication with direct colleagues and the business about design and coordination services rendered.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field

  • Overall GPA greater than or equal to 3.2/4.0

  • Proactive, willing to learn, well organized.

  • Proficient with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power point)

  • Fast learner, resourceful and curious

  • Interested in developing Corporate Finance career.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

  • Strong social and leadership skills.

Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
