Job Description

Marketing Planning

· Provide team leadership to develop overall marketing plans and strategies as well as marketing and sales aid/promotional materials according to the sales target and budget to effectively promote and sell the products i

· Monitor and evaluate all marketing activities that are in-line with the positioning of the products, make the necessary adjustments to adapt to market change

· Drive product positioning and competitive selling strategies as well as provide leadership in managing the logistics, market share and revenue of the product

· Oversee the development of competitive selling tools for the field, which includes the coordination of internal marketing research and market claims testing

· Assess and identify new indications and potential market opportunities to expand sales revenue, margin and productivity of existing products

· Determine the financial planning process related to product launch, customer satisfaction, scientific leadership and new business

· Input and update forecast data, collect and explain the main assumptions for forecast

· Present product and marketing programs to Senior Management

Therapeutic Area Business Management

· Develop and provide strategic commercial inputs to the development of products in assigned therapeutic area

· Direct to develop and execute product education, publication and promotional activities to effectively communicate the strategic positioning and life-cycle development of products to customers

· Determine and manage the allocation of product budget to maximize ROI

· Develop and execute financial models, market distribution and launch plans, pricing strategy, distribution/service strategy, situation analysis and assessment of opportunities, lifecycle management plan, ongoing surveillance of emerging technologies and competitive activities, advisory boards and focus groups

· Manage marketing and sales aid/promotional materials and theirs development for Field Sales to effectively establish product branding and messaging as well as efficient promoting

· Monitor and control marketing expenses in line with budget on monthly basis

· Work with other function management team to ensure the cross functional alignment of product strategies

· Work with Medical team and other cross functions to create and develop the marketing materials including evidence-based messages, clinical tools, product slides, handbook, etc

· Manage national level KOLs by coordinating with relevant professional associations, internal Medical Department, local sales management to build, strengthen and develop relationships, trustworthy and mutual understanding in therapeutic area (TA) related initiatives

· Coordinating cross function, cross product line and cross country communications in brand related activities

· Bridge brand related communications with the brand team and Global

People Management

· Build an effective product management team with high quality of staffing and recruitment

· Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve objectives including external customers and consumers, Field Sales, R&D, Regulatory Affairs, Manufacturing, Logistics, Public Affairs, Marketing and Executive Management and external vendors or agencies.

· Lead and manage single large brand or multiple small brand project team or strategic cross-category project by effective directing, coaching, feedback to ensure its success

· Coach and help APM and PM to understand the brand related marketing mix provided by Global and transform it into local brand strategies

Qualifications

l Industry experiences: Minimum 8-10 years working experience in Pharmaceutical industry

l Position experiences:

  • 5-7 years of Marketing experience (product/brand management, consumer packaged goods and/or healthcare professional), or 8-10 years Sales experience including 1+ years in Marketing

  • 2-3 years staff management and staff development experience

  • Biologics experience a plus. Experience in Gastro, Liver, CV, Urology, CNS, Vaccine, etc. is a plus

l Language Skills: Fulent in English both oral and written

l Computer Skills: Advanced level PC skills to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint

l Mobility: Willing to travel frequently

l Other Special requirement:

· Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for pharmaceuticals

· Good understanding of business and product knowledge with marketing sense

· Demonstrated leadership and success in project management

· Strong communication and presentation skill with excellent interpersonal sense

· Strong analytical skills including business and financial management

· Proven ability to develop and execute complex strategic business plans

· Autonomy/Independence, Assertiveness; a polished professional presence is essential

· Should be self-motivated, creative and well organized
