Description

• Enable Derma skin care brand Dr.Ci:Labo end to end innovation. Lead holistic product design tounlock desired consumer experiences through the strength of the science and sustainablepackaging solution. Develop and optimize the formula design, validate with consumers and HCPsmeeting target needs and requirements. Deliver key milestones to meet target concept, cost,efficacy and project timeline.

• Identify active ingredients and shape required technologies, translate ingredient and technologyinsights into concept, product design and science storytelling.

• Develop the lab process for new formulations. Coordinate with manufacturing site for processscale up to commercialization.

• Shape innovation learning plan and lead claim development, consumer qualification and productdemonstration. Partner with cross functions to conduct tests and assess product safety, sensoryaesthetic and efficacy.

• Shape science that sells through scientific content and product science demos development,demonstrate product innovation through KOLs, consumers and HCPs communication.

• Work closely and collaborate with cross sites R&D, marketing, supply chain, technology platformand other stakeholders to deliver key milestones for new product and commercial innovations.

• Provide market Support for commercial activities, i.e. new product launch campaign, PR activation,customer event etc.

• Conduct market &consumer insight analysis and build in-depth understanding.

• Seen as strong technical leader and will lead/mentor scientists within the team.

Qualifications

• A minimum of BS degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related science is required with 6-8 years above of industry experience. Master’s degree with relevant 4-6 years above of industryexperience is preferred.

• Strong expertise and experience in skin health formulation.

• Ability to translate scientific insights, acquire, analyze, interpret, organize data and document research.

• Ability to independently manage trouble shooting and complex technical projects.

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functions in a team environment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills at internal and external meetings, conferencesare required. Evidenced with presentations & publications are preferred.

• Good business acumen and understanding in consumer skin health business.
