As the Senior Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for, among other things: (i) providing proactive compliance support to the business; (ii) implementing global compliance policies, procedures and processes within China; (iii) leading regional compliance communications and training; (iv) conducting risk assessment and mitigation activities; (v) supporting investigations; (vi) evaluating compliance metrics to identify trends and conduct root cause analysis; and (vii) supporting business and company compliance initiatives and objectives.

Job Description
Essential Responsibilities:
Provide training support to the business on GE’s Spirit & Letter and other global, regional and business policies and procedures
With global compliance team, develop relevant and timely compliance communications and trainings to embed the program in day-to-day activities
Support dealer compliance mechanism optimizing and debugging, risk analysis of dealers and transaction structure risks and coordinate with business to drive ITP program in compliance way
Develop metrics and dashboards in coordination with global team to provide leadership with appropriate indicators of compliance health
Support business leadership in driving the open reporting program and conducting risk roll-up discussions with employees
With business leadership, lead compliance moments etc. to drive real-time and relevant discussions of compliance topics, risks, mitigations and program efforts, and ensure any sub-regional/zone CRBs are held with appropriate cadence
Coordinate with global compliance leadership to implement business risk assessment initiatives and drive mitigation plans
Monitor internal and external compliance trends, including compliance initiatives, industry compliance failures and applicable, industry specific regulatory requirements
Coordinate with global/region/local IMT investigations team to support GE HealthCare’s open reporting system
Coordinate with the global compliance team and relevant business owners to support regular monitoring and audits of compliance areas and support driving requisite improvements/resolutions for issues identified, including identification of trends and conducting root cause analysis of issues
Identify and resolve compliance-related procedural issues and areas of improvement, and ensure remediation actions plans are established, implemented and tracked through to closure
Any other responsibilities that may be identified by the Chief Compliance Officer or business from time-to-time
Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
A minimum of 7 to 10 years of professional experience in compliance, risk mitigation, investigations, audit, operational and/or other relevant assurance areas, preferably with a multi-national life sciences or healthcare company
Knowledge of and experience with compliance issues, such as: anti-corruption/Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, third party compliance, anti-money laundering, controllership, conflict of interest and supplier relationships
Prior work with local medical device or pharmaceutical industry codes
Experience in: (a) identifying and resolving compliance issues quickly and effectively; (b) ability to make timely and informed management calls with proven ability to drive operational excellence; and (c) developing and implementing compliance policies, processes and procedures
Strong grasp of The Spirit & The Letter, business ethics policies and current compliance practices and relevant industry standards
Strong business acumen, ability to detect emerging compliance and industry trends and develop appropriate responses
Experience in leading and handling critical investigations, including implementation of corrective actions
Strong communication, interpersonal and collaborative skills with ability to interact effectively at various levels of the organization and to facilitate risk-assessment and decision-making
Unquestioned integrity and ethics in business and personal conduct
Demonstrable verbal and written fluency in English
Desired Characteristics:
Master’s Degree or Law/Finance Degree
Energetic, self-starter and innovative
Track record of managing direct and indirect reports
Ability to analyze and translate policy intro practical business processes
Ability to respond to global/cultural sensitivities
Ability to operate with due discretion, confidentiality, objectivity and independence
Strong analytical, process management and implementation skills, sensitivity to issues, strong facilitation and problem-solving skills
