Position Scope:

Provide remote technical support to ensure that customers receive accurate advice on product use, mentorship on product selection, and resolution of technical complaints.

Key Responsibility:

1. Respond to customers' inquiries regarding to the accurate use of general molecular biology products over the phone, Email and online tools;

2. Resolve customers' technical complaints with soft skills;

3.Serve as a customer liaison and being responsible for promoting and maintaining positive customer relations;

4. Get along with sales, field service engineers, field application scientist and other functions.

Minimum Qualifications (must have)

1. Major in molecular biology or genetics with master degree or above;

2. Requires a minimum of 2-3 years’ working experience in molecular biology, genetics research or application. Technical support experience is preferred;

3. Knowledge and hands-on experience of routine molecular biology experiments, e.g. PCR, real-time PCR (qPCR). Capillary electrophoresis instruments (3500/3730/Seqstudio etc.) or next generation sequencing (NGS) technology is preferred;

4. Able and willing to learn new technology and new skill;

5. Proven ability to digest large amounts of new and sophisticated technical information in a short time;

6. Verbal and written expression skills, strong sense of customer service and communication skills;

7. Well oral and written English skill.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience of using plenty of products/technologies from ABI Brand is preferred.
