The Technology Solutions Lead—Integrated Manufacturing will work closely with cross-functional teams using agile principles to deliver Manufacturing solutions developed in platforms ranging from local MES solutions to global platforms in Integrated Manufacturing areas. There will be direct responsibility for leading resources contracted via a third party and through other organizations. Working across Supply Chain business technology and product line groups, the Technology Solutions Lead will craft and deliver innovative solutions for the business, requiring a strong ability in business and technology.

The Solution Lead will be responsible for:

  • Responsible for manufacturing platform & product solution deployment and operation across

  • Business platform services (Manufacturing Execution System, Serialization, Material Flow Control System, Label Management and Lab systems)

  • Platform configuration management

  • Drive and manage team for incident management, troubleshooting of the application and meeting service level expectations

  • Collaborating with business partners throughout the application development lifecycle to prototype, create, iterate, and deploy Manufacturing applications.

  • Taking high-level user stories and translating them into actionable requirements and creating level-of-effort estimates.

  • Lead extended, global, enterprise teams of internal and external professionals.

  • Drive standardization and consistency of platforms deployed globally that can meet business objectives and service levels

o Identify and drive repeatability of solutions for the platforms and the Manufacturing sites working with Platform Service Owners

o Design and engineer custom platform solutions outside standard design patterns

o Maintain platform solution standards

  • Ensure IT compliance (GXP, CSV, SDLC, 21 CFR Part 11, Records Management) requirements in all activities and solutions.

  • Supports TS financial reporting and analysis of site infrastructure costs

  • Vendor management associated with TS

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 6-8 years of Information Technology experience related to the deployment of IT application solutions, infrastructure solutions, and portfolio/project management.

  • Solid hands-on experience in application development, experience with database and programming languages

  • Proven experience in manufacturing, MES integration, and end-to-end supply chain digitalization - processes, applications, and integrations

  • Able to communicate with local support/business team located in Xi’an, China

  • Experience in multiple technology service towers such as server, storage, virtualization, web, messaging, databases, WAN/LAN, Microsoft Windows, and desktop computing hardware and software.

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures associated with the ITIL framework

  • Experience with managing multi-site and global support models

  • Self-starter, capable of creative and innovative thought and the ability to progress ideas from development, implementation and constant improvement

  • (Preferred) Experie nce in GxP systems, Comput er System Validation, and consistent track record in support of FDA-regulated systems and business.

  • Ability to operate effectively with all parts of the J&J business and JJT organization as well as management of relationships with vendor partners is required.
