JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description Are you ready to grow your career in the world of Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS). We are hiring a Sourcing Analyst I or II to play a vital role in the success of the GSS department by completing data analysis, maintain existing databases, develop departmental SOP\'s, be an active participant in supplier management including managing a small/medium category, and lead medium sized sourcing initiatives. Essential Accountabilities: Collect, organize, maintain, and analyze necessary data to support sourcing, such as spend data, stakeholder requirements, supply base, supplier financials, purchase price variance, market & industry dynamics and trends and other data specific to each project. Develop, update, and maintain critical data used in systems utilized by Sourcing and their internal customers. Develop, update and manage a variety of reporting functions needed to keep Sourcing Managers, Directors, and internal customers informed and connected. Lead the coordination of required supplier documentation Assist in the development of Requests for Information (RFI) and Requests for Proposals (RFP) and all accompanying documents. Conduct analysis on data to help stakeholders understand cost models, savings forecasts, pricing proposals, RFP & RFQ results, qualitative proposals and other data specific to each project. Assist in the preparation of supplier review and negotiation strategy and documents used in supplier meetings. Assist in the on-boarding of suppliers and materials. Manage a category with higher complexity - supplier selection, relationship, reviews, negotiations, quality issues, contingency plans, and develop basic category strategy. Follow up with suppliers in addressing material quality issues and implementing corrective actions with the help of site Quality and Operations teams. Coordinate with internal customers and category managers to assist in sourcing initiatives. Manage small projects related to sourcing events. Understand and summarize date for use in executive presentations. Qualification Requirements: Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related is required. May consider years of experience and education in lieu of degree. Strategic Sourcing or Supply Chain experience (0-2 years\' experience for Sourcing Analyst I; 2+ years\' experience for Sourcing Analyst II) Experience in manufacturing is a plus CPSM is preferred (For Sourcing Analyst II) Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of JD Edwards or equivalent ERP system is a plus. Ability to work under pressure under tight timelines and function effectively while multi-tasking.
