Navajo Transitional Energy Co LLC Electrician - Spring Creek Mine in Sheridan, Wyoming

Summary of Position:
This position is designed to perform all basic electrical work, de-energizing large mobile mining equipment according to the isolation/lockout standards, trouble-shoot electrical systems on mobile mining equipment, plant and shop facilities, install electrical conduit, and read and interpret single-line diagrams and schematic drawings.
SIGN ON BONUS OF $1500.00 to Experienced Electricians and will be at the discretion of the Minesite.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code and understanding and application of mathematical and electrical formulas is essential.
- Troubleshooting and repair experience with high voltage DC motors and generators.
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- PLC programming, troubleshooting and repair experience preferred
- Technical school degree in Industrial Electronics preferred
- Previous experience with large mobile mining equipment preferred
- MSHA approval for surface mine electrician preferred
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms.Employee is required to have the ability to:frequently walk; occasionally lift and carry up to 47 pounds, sit, stand, forward bend while sitting or standing, grip up to 30 pounds; rarely lift up to 54 pounds to waist, pull with up to 64 pounds of force, forward bend while sitting or standing, rotate while sitting or standing, crawl, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and perform elevated work and repetitive squats. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear.Works in site environments on rotating shifts with variable hours. Working outdoors in all weather conditions; working on uneven surfaces; working in plant environment; working in shop environment; and working in the cab of equipment or vehicle.
