First Northern Bank of Wyoming Marketing Assistant in Sheridan, Wyoming

Summary/Objective: The Marketing Assistant position works closely with the Marketing Director on the day-to-day marketing activities of the Bank. This position conducts research, helps with reporting, and follows banking industry trends. This position tracks events, sponsorship's and donations, PR campaigns, and marketing projects and supplies. This position will also collect data, forecast trends, and assess customer and employee satisfaction based on surveys and feedback. Essential functions:]{calibri",sans-serif"=""}**

  • Help plan and implement community branch events, projects, advertising, and PR campaigns and ensure all tasks stay on track to accomplish all marketing needs within the approved budget.
  • Help coordinate social media posts and photos and organize events by providing banners, logos, donations baskets, giveaways, etc., in each area and communicate all community events/activities to staff.
  • Help maintain and track marketing projects and processes.
  • Assist in coordinating content for the Banks website and updating it with current promos, employee photos, job descriptions, etc.
  • Order marketing materials and supplies and keep all branch locations inventory full.
  • Help contact vendors and community partners to ensure there are updated ads on radio, newspaper, chamber newsletters, billboards, etc.
  • Update the software systems for all internal branch advertising.
  • Post and update marketing items on the company intranet.
  • Assist the Marketing Director in maintaining promotions, ads, and giveaways with the Radio Station
  • Help support the sales team by providing sales data, market trends, forecasts, account analysis, and new product information.
  • Research any marketing ideas to help improve the Banks products or service offerings.
  • Assist in communicating with clients and maintaining good relations.
  • Tracks product line sales and costs by analyzing and entering sales, expense, and new business data.
  • Attend community events to facilitate their success.
  • This position will require travel to other FNBW branch locations.
  • Participate as able with branch marketing and community involvement events.
  • Additional duties as assigned as it relates to the position.

Competencies:

Knowledgeable of bank policies, procedures, and regulations

Attend training on bank/job-related topics

Passion for community banking

Fully understand the Banks products and services as well as the marketing and business processes

Fully understand the Banks customer demographicsboth consumers and businesses

Knowledge about the communities where the Banks branches are located to market accordingly

Knowledge of direct marketing, marketing segmentation, and marketing research

Must be adaptable and work in a fast-paced and changing work environment
