Navajo Transitional Energy Co LLC Mechanic -Tire Specialist-Spring Creek in Sheridan, Wyoming

There is secondary | | | responsibility of working | | | with the operations people to | | | insure maximum tire life.This | | | position will coordinate the | | | planning of and replacement | | | of tires with Supervisors. | | | Work within the confines of | | | the company Tire Safety | | | Program | | | | | | - Ensure that targeted | | | equipment is meeting | | | prescribed availability | | | levels within the influence | | | of the tire replacement | | | schedule. | | | | | | - Work with centralized | | | maintenance tire consultant. | | | | | | - Assist Supervisors and Site | | | Truck Planners in insuring | | | that tires are available | | | prior to any targeted | | | equipment are shut down for | | | tire replacement. | | | | | | - Participate in tire | | | adjustments with the tire | | | manufacturers. | | | | | | - Perform tire changes on all | | | classes of equipme t from a | | | small vehicle to the largest | | | haul trucks and loaders. | | | | | | - Work with Tire Consultant to | | | identify stock shortage | | | areas. | | | | | | - Perform routine air checks as | | | required by the schedule. | | | | | | - Ability to complete required | | | tire change documentation. | | | | | | Qualifications: | | | | | | - High School diploma/GED is | | | strongly recommended | | | | | | - 2 years mechanical experience | | | and/or related technical | | | degree or any combination of | | | education and experience that | | | provides the requisite | | | knowledge to successfully | | | perform the job. | | | | | | - Position requires technical | | | or practical training in | | | mechanical/welding field. | | | | | | - Two years experience working | | | with off road tires is | | | preferred. | | | | | | - Self-motivated, taking strong | | | leadership role in the work | | | area, assist in other areas | | | when assigned, is a resource | | | to others. | | | | | | - Highly flexible with the | | | ability to adjust to the | | | demands of the job, produce | | | high quality work, and can be | | | depended on to complete | | | assigned task with minimal | | | supervision. Will take on | | | additional responsibility. | | | | | | - Consistently displays | | | positive behavior that | | | supports the organizations | | | goals and objectives. |
