Honeywell Chemical Plant Operations Manager in Shreveport, Louisiana

As a Chemical Plant Operations Manager here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of our chemical manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include supervising production processes, leading a team of operators and technicians, and implementing rigorous safety protocols and environmental regulations. Your expertise in optimizing plant operations, reducing downtime, controlling production costs, and ensuring the quality of our chemical products will be crucial to our success.

You will report directly to our Director Chemical Plant Operations and you will work out of our Shreveport, LA location on a fully on-site work schedule.

In this role, you will have a significant impact on the efficiency and success of our chemical manufacturing facility. By optimizing production processes, reducing downtime, and controlling costs, you will contribute to increased profitability and operational excellence. Your role in upholding safety and environmental standards will ensure our company's reputation and compliance with regulatory requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the chemical plant operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and safety.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize plant performance, improve efficiency, and reduce costs.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and procedures.

• Lead and motivate a team of operators and technicians to achieve production targets and maintain a safe working environment.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and resolve operational issues.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Proven experience of 6+ years in managing chemical plant operations.

• Experience monitoring, managing and troubleshooting chemical manufacturing production processes.

• Strong knowledge of process safety, environmental regulations, and quality management systems.

• Excellent leadership and communication skills.

• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions.
