Description
We are in search of a Staff Accountant to join our clients team based in Siletz, Oregon. In this role, you will be expected to manage a variety of accounting tasks such as - maintaining the general ledger, completing journal entries, performing reconciliations, and working with the CFO on month end close activities.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy
• Manage general ledger tasks to maintain financial records
• Prepare and post journal entries for month-end close
• Utilize Abila MIP for various accounting tasks
• Employ Microsoft Excel for efficient data management and analysis
• Apply knowledge of fund/non-profit or government accounting to daily tasks.
Requirements
• Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations.
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in managing general ledger.
• Capability to accurately prepare and maintain journal entries.
• Expertise in executing month end close processes.
• Familiarity with Accounting software is required
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel for accounting and financial tasks.
