Job Description

Responsibilities:

* Coordinating with a team of engineers and data scientists to perform data extraction, analysis, modeling, and research to understand and interpret data predictions, relationships, and trends

* Working with end users to help educate them in SQL and Python, preferably with Apache Spark

* Create queries, reports, and technical presentations

*  Write unit and integration tests for a variety of data processing code

* Comprehension of the latest technology trends, developments and best practices to define new process improvement opportunities

* Ensuring successful completion of work and timeliness of deliverables

* Providing status updates to senior members of the team and working with management to identify and prioritize business needs

Skills and Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics, business analytics or related field

* 7 years of experience in software development, data pipelines, data modeling, data profiling, data research, and data management

* Extensive experience working with data in SQL and Python

* Experience and understanding of Apache Spark and PySpark

* Experience with Github and using test-driven development

* Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

* Desire to dig in, learn and contribute to new challenges

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

40-70h * Experience working in Databricks

* Experience with AWS null
