Our Essilor team based at Silverwater are looking for an Optical Worker or Optical Mechanic with experience in Optical Edging and Fitting, QC or Optical Tinting, where you can expect to be assigned duties in the following work areas:

• Marking up and blocking optical lenses

• Edging of optical lenses

• Fitting variety of lens types to Nylon, shell and metal frames

• Rimless Fitting

• Lindberg Fitting

• Tinting

• Final quality checking of completed fitting jobs.

• Pre QC and tracing a variety of frame types

• Experiences with MEI and Technocam will be plus

With a total focus on providing our customers with the best possible experience we are looking for a confident and dedicated person who is also committed to customer service and producing quality products – first time, every time. You will need to be an excellent team player, attention to detail, have strong personal motivation along with an enthusiastic attitude and excellent communication skills. Ideally you will also possess an Optical Mechanics trade qualification or have equivalent experience.
