Abbott Associate Product Manager in Singapore, Singapore

Primary Function:
Responsible for driving execution of various strategic initiatives at the regional and country level in Asia Pacific, in alignment with global strategies for Virology Portfolio – HIV, Hepatitis, STI & TB.
The position involves a high level of interaction with country teams and global stakeholders to expand existing business, launch new products and drive achievement of revenue targets.
Role is located in Singapore with an expected travel schedule of 30-40% of time per annum.
Major Requirements:
Technical / Operational
Implement & Strategic tactical & brand plans for Infectious Diseases (ID) Virology Portfolio (HIV/STI/HEP/TB).
Coordinate efforts of internal cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution of tactics and programs within specified marketing budgets.
Execute New Product Launch strategies at the regional and country level to maximize opportunities and margins.
Develop and maintain expertise within the product portfolio and platforms including a comprehensive knowledge of the HIV, STI, Hepatitis & TB market insights in APAC
Monitor and communicate competitive activity and market trends as well as formulating strategic responses.
Execute GTM including Segmentation Targeting & Positioning – and marketing mix for existing Virology products & NPI
Develop effective value based sales training tools to support the field sales team in interpreting clinical data, guidelines, product benefits and competitive positioning.
Understanding of workflows and benefits of products, refining product positioning and developing key messages for customers.
Build and maintain a database for tracking key market data for the region. Includes cleaning, organizing and analyzing the market data
Track and analyze funding, pricing and volume trends for major product categories
Internal Systems and Processes
Comply with Abbott’s Corporate Policies and Procedures
Implement and review an annual portfolio marketing plan for the APAC region.
Ensure all portfolio product and service volume forecasts are current and accurate
Analyse effectiveness/ROI of marketing activities, campaigns and events.
Ensure all marketing activities are conducted professionally, aligned with local regulatory and industry guidelines and are conducted in a manner consistent with Abbott’s Business Conduct guidelines and OEC Policies. and relevant country’s Code of Conduct guidelines, and Abbott’s Anti-Corruption Policy.
Customers
Build strategic customer relationships with Key Opinion Leaders with a specific focus on NGO’s and MOH partners in the region.
Lead the portfolio educational, marketing and sales processes to empower internal and external customers to achieve success.
Continually identify/monitor customer segments and develop short/medium/long term marketing plans to penetrate those segments.
Requirements:
Bachelor Degree in Sciences, Marketing, Business or relevant disciplines
Minimum 3 years of experience in product marketing management, preferably in diagnostics/medical devices/pharma industry.
Regional marketing experience (APAC) is highly preferred
Experience in developing and implementing short, medium and long term marketing and product management strategies across diverse markets & segments.
Experience in business development with NGOs (Local & International), HTA within the countries etc. in diagnostics, pharma and health management is advantageous
Strong communication skills
Fluency in any of the Asian languages such as Mandarin/Bahasa/Korean etc is highly preferred as this role will work very closely with regional stakeholders
