Would you like to be part of a team that is redefining the Enterprise IT industry? Amazon Web Services is leading the next paradigm shift in computing and is looking for an accomplished leader of leaders for the role of Business Leader of APJ Global System Integrators (GSI).
As the Business Leader of APJ GSIs you will set an innovative sales strategy, deliver results through the development of joint industry IP, identify and close large-scale IT Outsourcing renewals, and develop a high performing team of industry leaders in their own right. You will hire, lead, and develop a global team, own operational execution of attainment against global targets, and create/manage/maintain executive relationships across the business.
By establishing and growing business and technical relationships, and managing the day-to-day interactions with these strategic partners, you will be responsible for driving pipeline, new revenue growth, increased market adoption and the expansion of the partner’s largest global AWS opportunities. You will be expected to not only create and conceptualize tech programs, but also manage the roll-out through your partners. To be successful, you will possess or demonstrate the ability to build the right level of executive relationships across not just partners, but players within the enterprise.
The Business Leader of APJ GSIs will possess both a business/sales background with a leading consulting or systems integrator that enables them to develop forward thinking initiatives, which drive incremental adoption of AWS services. They will have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build strong industry relationships. This leader will be an influencer by nature, someone the partners are eager to engage with, and have a hands-on approach.

Key Responsibilities
Build and rapidly expand the AWS global relationship engaging with, and selling through two of the top Global Systems Integrator (GSI) and Advisory firms in the world
Drive revenue growth and cloud adoption that exceeds that of the total company targets
Lead a high-performing, global team, of Partner Development Managers and Partner Solution Architects deployed to over 20 countries
Closely collaborate with executive stakeholders across the organization, including Field Sales, Business Development, Product, Finance, and Legal

Basic Qualifications
15+ years of sales, business development, partner development, or alliances management experience
10+ years of experience with GSIs and/or large enterprise sales and complex agreements
10+ years of experience as a leader of leaders, supporting globally distributed teams.
Proven success building a high performing global organizations spanning multiple GSIs
Experience operating businesses from 100s of millions, to billions of dollars in revenue (USD)
Experience developing complex solutions with C-suite customers and internal stakeholders
Bachelor’s Degree or 15+ years equivalent relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
An evangelist of the cloud era with deep experience in an industry or technology domain
An Influencer who has strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to cross functional audiences.
Experience building business cases for multi-million dollar investments at that CEO level
Familiarity with selling/managing large partner programs, ideally to the Public Cloud
Familiarity negotiating deals across varying cultural normal in a truly global business
Understanding of digital transformation drivers and the technology ecosystem that supports them
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Masters’ Degree in technical or relevant business field
