Growth Lead - Natural Resources (Power & Renewables), Asia

What the day will look like

  • Establishing and monitoring pipelines and sales budget; profitable growth of Power & Renewables portfolio via new and / or retained and / or expanded business relative to the Power & Renewables segment in Asia through the provision of tender responses / strategy, placement support when required and/or risk and insurance consulting services;

  • Ensure there is a strong framework of information and report templates for sales and RFP responses;

  • Collaborating with Commercial Risks leadership, Aon network offices and Asia sales and client teams per overall business goals & objectives to deliver our value proposition at all times in an Aon United manner;

  • Developing senior relationships with key prospects;

  • Contribute to the delivery of thought leadership, best practice, and industry technical expertise to clients, prospects and colleagues;

  • Ensure quarterly market update is distributed to colleagues and interested parties;

  • Identifying and keeping up to date with sector and market trends relative to Power & Renewables clients and prospects;

  • Knowledge sharing, mentoring and training colleagues;

  • Helping to implement various agreed sales initiatives across the region through either targeted marketing, circulars, seminars and ensuring there is a positive assessment and delivery on ROI;

  • Any additional duties that may be allocated to you by the Company from time to time

    Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Previous experience in the Power & Renewables insurance sector and sales would be preferred;

  • Minimum requirement (BCP, PGI, CommGI) for registration with MAS or such similar qualification acceptable to MAS preferred;

  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders;

  • Self-disciplined, organized, with attention to detail and ability to prioritise.
