Description
Siouxland Community Health Center has a part-time paid opening (approximately 20 hours per week, flexible hours based on school/class schedules, internship could be eligible for school credit) for:
Marketing/Development/Public Relations Intern
Successful candidate must have solid experience & advanced knowledge of:
Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow-up skills
Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
Ability to learn other software programs
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Successful candidate must be able to perform primary functions of position:
Assist the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, development, and public relations plans.
Assist with the planning and implementation of fundraising events.
Assist with emails, newsletters, community presentations, community outreach events, and updating the client information in the fundraising database.
