Requirements

What you will do:

  • Review and prioritize maintenance work orders to ensure timely and efficient repairs.

  • Plan daily work schedules for maintenance technicians, ensuring optimal resource allocation.

  • Assist in the development and improvement of a work order tracking system, ensuring accurate documentation of maintenance activities.

  • Train and onboard new maintenance technicians, providing mentorship and guidance to enhance team skills.

  • Assist in project planning for maintenance and mechanical services projects, ensuring alignment with plant goals and timelines.

  • Request quotes for repair and replacement parts, tools, and equipment; manage vendor relationships for cost-effective solutions.

  • Maintain inventory of critical parts and recommend improvements for stocking levels and supply chain efficiency.

  • Partner with the Operations Supervisor and Engineer to conduct daily plant walk-throughs, identifying potential maintenance needs and ensuring equipment functionality.

  • Work hands-on alongside technicians to assist with repairs and project execution, providing advanced technical expertise as needed.

  • Collaborate with plant leadership to develop preventative maintenance schedules for critical equipment and ensure completion of PM tasks.

  • Plan and schedule weekly WO and PM’s and ensure the right parts are available on site.

  • Responsible for maintaining WO details and on hand inventory for part in the CMMS program.

  • Demonstrate company values in daily work interactions, fostering a positive and collaborative workplace environment.

  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support plant operations and equipment reliability.

What you will need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; advanced technical training or certification in a related field is preferred.

  • 7+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, including leadership responsibilities.

  • Strong knowledge of industrial mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, automation, motors, and hydraulics.

  • Proven experience in managing work orders, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities.

  • Proficiency in using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) or similar maintenance tracking systems.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior technicians.

  • Strong organizational skills for inventory management and project planning.

  • Commitment to safety and compliance with OSHA and company standards.

  • Basic knowledge of electrical (110V, 240V and 480V single and 3-phrase) required.

  • Pipe fitting, welding, air and electrical pump experience is preferred.

  • Knowledge of automation and process controls is a plus.
