We're seeking a dynamic Senior Manager to lead Commercial Development for our United Kingdom and Ireland Business Unit (BU). To craft and implement our go-to-market strategy in this key region.

Core Responsibilities

  • Drive Commercial Activities: Lead Year-1 Commercial Planning, in-year performance management, Customer Business Planning, Portfolio Deployment, and Revenue Management.

  • Collaborate: Partner with the General Manager to influence commercial strategy, offering insights and demonstrating best practices from across the WE Market Group and globally.

  • Local Execution: Ensure regional strategies are effectively implemented at the local level, bringing your RCD expertise to the BU.

  • Strategic Sparring: Work with RCD subject matter experts on topics like channel performance, portfolio deployment, and revenue management.

  • Leadership: Represent RCD in BU leadership forums, collaborating with GM, Channel Leads, and Key Account Managers to drive business execution and unlock the BU's full commercial potential.

  • Market Understanding: Possess a deep understanding of relevant functional subject areas and the market to influence the BU's commercial agenda.

As part of our team, you'll play a crucial role in the success of the Western Europe Region, the largest Market Group within The LEGO Group. You will be a key member of both the Regional Commercial Development Team and the UKI Business Unit Leadership Team.

By balancing short- and long-term priorities and applying an analytical approach, you'll drive fact-based discussions with commercial leaders. Your leadership will positively influence teams and organisations, helping us achieve strategic goals and deliver our global and regional commercial agendas!

Do you have what it takes?

  • Commercial Expertise: Strong track record in operational commercial roles like Account Management.

  • Industry Experience: Background in large international manufacturing organisations or complex retailers, with expertise in sales processes and governance practices.

  • Financial Competence: Ability to build and interpret financial models to guide commercial investment decisions.

  • Collaboration: Excellent at working with both internal and external customers across functions, with experience in leading complex projects.

  • Strategic and Pragmatic: Strong critical thinking with a pragmatic approach to business challenges, growing in ambiguous situations.

  • Analytical Skills: Proven track record to turn insights into actionable plans.

  • Innovative: Passionate about creativity and change management, with a proactive approach to unlocking opportunities and overcoming challenges
