Program Summary

KBR leads the government services world contingency market by providing responsive, full-service logistics support to forces deployed around the world under the Logistics Civil Augmentation Program contract (LOGCAP). KBR’s enduring mission support of the LOGCAP program dates back to 1992 when we served as the contract’s original prime contractor. Job Summary

The Master Electrician plays a crucial role in supporting the Regional General Site Manager and Site Leadership by contributing insights to identify key success factors for the Electrical Department.

This role involves

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to establish organizational structures and processes necessary for the successful execution of construction and maintenance services.

  • Oversee electrical services, ensuring quality assurance, evaluating subcontractor performance, and managing construction costs.

  • Perform Electrical Technical Inspections and Preventative Maintenance Inspections, identifying Life, Health, and Safety (LHS) issues and defects according to BS7671 18th Edition and US National Electric Code.

  • Execute the requirements of construction and maintenance services, ensuring adherence to organizational structures and processes.

  • Lead the Electrical Department in achieving key success factors and goals.

  • Evaluate electrical service execution for compliance with contract, design data, schedule, cost budgets, and quality.

  • Advise the project team on the status, issues, impacts, risks, and cost influence factors related to the project scope.

  • Maintain short-range look ahead plans, discussing any deviations with Site Managers and the Regional General Site Manager (GSM).

  • Review and monitor cost and man-hour budgets for the installation process.

  • Develop equipment and tool requirement plans and review them with Site Managers and the GSM.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (Required Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Must have a Master Electrician License, Certification or equivalent.

  • Must have at least 5 years of experience as an Electrician.

  • Must have at least 2 years of Supervisory experience.

  • Requires strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • Requires a valid passport with at least 12 months of validity and 6 blank pages.

Preferred Qualifications (Preferred Education, Experience, Skills, and Certifications)

  • Proven expertise in overseeing construction and maintenance services.

  • Familiarity with BS7671 18th Edition and US National Electric Code.

  • Effective communication and collaboration with project teams.

  • Ability to evaluate and address Life, Health, and Safety (LHS) issues.

  • Experience in developing and managing equipment and tool requirement plans.

  • Knowledge of cost and man-hour budget monitoring in the installation process.
