Quickbase Senior QA Engineer in Sofia, Bulgaria

As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll ensure software quality in a key domain of our product. You’ll define test strategies, develop and execute automated test scripts, manage regression tests, and oversee defect lifecycles. Your role also involves mentoring the team, contributing to process enhancements, and advocating for best practices.
You have prior coding and test automation experience (JavaScript, Python, Java, C++)
You have experience working with Docker containers, GCP, or AWS technologies
You have experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or TeamCity
You are comfortable driving and advancing quality in the organization
You are comfortable collaborating with and influencing cross-disciplinary teams of product designers, software developers, and quality engineers
You enjoy coaching and mentoring fellow engineers
You have excellent understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and best practices and working in an agile environment

What will you be doing:
Enable teams to move forward more quickly by contributing to the build out of frameworks, infrastructure, and tools
Develop and maintain automated test suites to ensure efficient and consistent testing of software components, APIs, and user interfaces.
Lead the design and execution of comprehensive quality assurance strategies and processes to ensure the delivery of high-quality products.
Continually improve tooling, processes, and patterns to improve speed, efficiency, quality, and reliability
Be an advocate for quality and help advance the culture of teams owning quality
Work closely with development, QA, and Site Reliability resources to help ensure consistent system and end-to-end quality
Analyze test results and product performance data to provide actionable insights and recommendations for improving product quality and reliability.
Educate, mentor, and influence others on quality, test methodologies and approaches, and testing best practices and patterns
Contribute to test automation at various layers of the technology stack and in support of the different types of quality testing
Working with internal resources to troubleshoot and resolve issues and bottlenecks
Contribute to quality roadmap and strategy discussions
Collaborate and share learnings with other quality minded individuals as a part of our Quality Community of Practice
