Compliance Business Partner Nordics to Siemens Financial Services

This position is part of the Compliance Function at Siemens Financial Services, based in Solna and works across the Nordic countries. It will work in close collaboration with a senior colleague to make sure the business is run in compliance with FI (Finansinspektionen) regulations. This means to follow-up on Business Conduct Guidelines and to be a business partner in areas within the regulatory framework such as Anti-Money Laundering, Data Protection, Compliance matters, and sanctions investigations. It also means to conduct internal risk assessment and reviews, report suspicious activity and to assist in developing and implementing changes to the local risk assessment and spot-check processes. This requires monitoring and keeping up-to-date with the general development and any changes in legislation and regulations that are relevant to the business.

While it is crucial to be in control of and creating awareness regarding the relevant regulations throughout the business, it is equally important to push behaviors that ensure compliance. To do so, it is crucial to train the business continuously and to work closely with the business in order to build trust and mutual understanding.

Desired background

We believe you are a person that can balance the fine line between making sure guidelines and regulations are adhered to while being an agile business partner when appropriate. This requires both integrity and humility together with a high service level and communication skills. Alongside this, we consider analytical skills, a sense for details and a conscientious mindset particularly important to be successful in this role.

You probably have an academic background from Law school together with a couple of years’ experience from compliance. You are comfortable in understanding large amounts of information that is often complex and can express yourself well in both Swedish and English. Previous experience from a similar role is considered a big plus.
